Resident Services

Cathcart’s award winning customer service team provides prompt and reliable solutions, which ensures resident retention, minimizing turn-over, and ultimately reducing expenses. As part of our Purpose, Vision, and Core Values, our communities are created with our resident’s needs at the forefront. Our extensive amenity packages, coupled with our owner sponsored social events, allow our residents the opportunity to relax and enjoy a carefree lifestyle.

We handle all aspects of resident relations, including: preparing leases, managing existing leases, addressing maintenance issues, and maintaining accurate records. In addition, we follow all applicable Local, State, and Fair Housing Laws, and are well- versed in the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act.

Resident Satisfaction

Building strong relationships is at the heart of our business. Providing first-class service is of paramount importance; therefore, residents are surveyed annually to ensure they receive the highest level of satisfaction and every expectation is being met. The results can be seen in the many awards and accolades that our team members and communities have garnered. In 2013 Cathcart Property Management was the proud recipient of the coveted CEL National Multifamily Award for Excellence – Category V.

Maintenance

Maintenance is performed in-house by skilled maintenance personnel. This allows us to focus on quality while keeping expenses down. If we do need to contact an outside company, we are able to use our purchasing power to get the most competitive pricing. Our teams undergo continuous training to ensure we run our communities in the most cost effective manner. The savings are reflected in the bottom line.
