The Cathcart Group, a Charlottesville based real estate developer announces construction on Bellaire at Stone Port, Harrisonburg, Va. Bellaire at Stone Port will be a state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care community to serve the aging population in Harrisonburg, Virginia and surrounding areas. It will include 64 assisted living and 24 memory care units on 4.2 acres, for a total of 88 units. Assisted living residents will enjoy selecting from a variety of unit sizes, floor plans, locations and features when making Bellaire at Devonshire Assisted Living their new home, including the option of enjoying their own “back door” to a private patio. For the protection and safety of the memory care residents, the memory care units will be located in a private one-story wing of the building with separate secure access points, and residents will enjoy their very own private courtyard and private dining room. The facility will also include state-of-the-art technology such as an emergency call system with upgraded features and an Internet based therapy program for residents with dementia that involves family and resident interaction via audio/video.
